Motors news is the latest area to be taken over by Ai content on Google Discover
It’s happening across the board – and motors news is the latest victim of the Ai takeover on Google Discover.
If you have a keen interest in cars, you would expect to see articles from the likes of Top Gear or Autocar on your Discover feed. Perhaps even Supercar Blondie.

That’s how the Google Discover algorithm works.
It knows the sort of content you should like and it feeds you articles of interest.
But, as a car lover you would not expect to see content from the likes of Dental Orto Medical or Isemas on your feed.
What about Success Way Holdings? Nope.
These three sites would certainly not spring to mind if you were asked to name a handful of car news sites.
Like every other Ai site that’s dominating on Discover, these are old domains that have been purchased and repurposed.
Despite having no previous authority in the motors space, Google seem to deem them an authority. Why?

Let’s take a deeper look at Dental Orto Medical
On January 17 alone, this site has published/republished 247 articles.
This puts them miles ahead of any reputable car news site on the planet in terms of output.
This Ai content is being mass produced at a level that human writers just cannot compete with.
Now, let’s look at the actual articles…
Calling the user experience on these pages shocking would be an understatement.
There are dodgy adverts plastered across each page and an annoying pop-up at the top of the screen.
To confirm the use of Ai, we ran one article from this site through Grammarly’s Ai checker.
Surprise, surprise…

There’s not even any effort to edit these articles before live to make them seem legit.
It’s a straight up attempt to trick Google. And it’s working.
Do real authors not mean anything to Google?
We’ve heard Google highlight the importance of EEAT countless times.
For those that don’t know, this stands for Experience, Expertise, Authoratitiveness and Trustworthiness.
Google state that you should demonstrate these four pointers in your content to drive more traffic.
One key way that publishers do this is by clearly highlighting the expertise of their authors within articles and on author pages.
You’d think that this would be crucial in a world where Google are trying (and failing) to eradicate Ai content from the Discover feed.
But it’s not.
Dental Orto Medical don’t even have a legit author bio but are still driving consistent traffic.
Their ‘author’ goes by the name of medical.usa.
There’s no proof of expertise, experience or authority yet this content is still surfacing.
Google Discover cheat sheet
If you own a motors site and have seen a drop off in traffic on Discover or organic search, reach out to us.
You can contact the TRAFCK team at hi@trafck.co.uk and we can build you a strategy to outshine this Ai dribble.

Keep these as your key points and focus areas when optimising your content for Google Discover:
- Use a clickable headline that has a teased element. This will make the user want to click in.
- Use a bright, eye-catching high-quality image. Do not use text or small insets on images.
- Demonstrate EEAT throughout your article. Show Google and the reader that you are an expert.
- Think about user dwell time. A high dwell time is an indicator of article quality to Google.
- Write content that works for you on Discover. Double down on the areas you are already driving traffic from.
